Declaration of A State of War with Ancient Aliens TV Show.

After Ancient Aliens plagiarized my 37th Parallel Theory by airing their episode about it called, “The UFO Superhighway” on March 1st, 2024, I now have to declare “WAR” on Ancient Aliens!

Declaration Of A State of War With Ancient Aliens
March 5th, 2024

The House met, or I met myself in my house, at 6:00 o’clock p. m. (actually, my trailer, I’m currently working from my travel trailer in Texas), that on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 2024, at 6:05 o’clock p. m. is the purpose for this resolution.

The address was delivered by the UFOnut from UFOnut.com LLC:
UFOnut Trademark

March 1st, 2024, a date which will live in infamy, UFOnut (ie me) was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the Ancient Aliens TV Show. UFOnut.com was at peace with that show and was in previous conversations about refusing to do an episode on my 37th Parallel Theory due to being contractually bound with New Line Cinema about said theory.

Without regards to said previous contract, Ancient Aliens undertook a surprise offensive attack against UFOnut (me) and ran an episode about my theory called, “The UFO Superhighway”. The people of my Facebook Page have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications of plagiarism.

As Commander in Chief of UFOnut.com and all material in said website including lectures and podcasts, I have directed (to myself) that certain measures will be taken for my defense and the defense of all those who stand with me.

Always will we remember the character of the onslaught against this website on that treacherous day, March 1st.

Hostilities exist in forms of plagiarism from individuals who are too stupid to come up with their own ideas so they “leach” information from others, then use their task force to distribute information that is not theirs. Their task force releases information unfamiliar with them in a type of “script” format. Their task force never really understands the consequences of their actions, just understands the All Might Dollar they receive for such actions. So, with that said, the best interests of not only me but all Paranormal Field investigator’s information is that they (we) are in grave danger from production companies who want to profit from our hard work and step over the border line in a form of plagiarism.

With the confidence of my two arms and a keyboard, this website along with all others who may follow, will gain the inevitable Trump, uh triumph, so help us God.

I ask that those who have also fallen prey to any production company who plagiarized your information to combine forces with this institution and become Allies against the treacherous enemy known as, Ancient Aliens.

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and …”

Wait… sorry that was from Sir Winston Churchill’s famous speech from WW2.

Uh… oh yeah, “We shall come together against the enemies of the state who steal the knowledge from those who possess it for their own financial gain.” “We shall always remember those who have fallen due to those enemies and combine forces to protect others, so they don’t meet the same fate.”

So, in closing to this Declaration of War, the “yeas” outnumber the “nays” and this Declaration of War against Ancient Aliens has fully passed.

Signed,
Chuck Zukowski

My first line of attack on Ancient Aliens under my Declaration of War is, I will start on the offensive by firing off rounds of knowledge pertaining to; Production Release forms, or Talent Release forms. These informational rounds will give you some inside information in case the enemy in question, ever wants you to be on their show, or any other production company which may be allies with said enemy.

First, if a production company ever contacts you to be on their TV show, make sure they compensate you for your time. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will be on whatever episode they want you for. Most production companies may shoot over 15 hours of footage for just a 45-minute episode, so a lot of taping never sees the light of day. People get cut from TV shows all the time, it like the plague. It happened with my show Alien Highway, and I felt really bad. I had no control over the production company and what they ultimately do in post edit.

Also, just because a production company hands you a release form does not mean you can’t line-out or include any other information. This is a legal and binding contract between you and the production company, make sure you are protected. I’ve seen some really awful release forms people have signed, and it’s criminal in nature. Some of these production companies will take advantage of you anyway they can, like Ancient Aliens going to my sister to talk about my theory.

You’ll see things in release forms like;

I _________, hereby grant permission to _________, the rights of my image, in video or still, and of the likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording till the end of time.

By signing this release, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the Internet. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where my likeness may be distributed.

Do you see what you are getting yourself into? Your grandchildren could see you on TV decades later while visiting Baia Mare, in Transylvania.

Ok, rules of thumb when signing a TV show release form.

1. Make sure you get some type of compensation.
DO NOT DO IT FOR FREE! They will use the same lame excuse, “We don’t have the money, we’re on a tight budget”. “Bull Schmidt!” They have the money, if they have a large production crew, or use a lot of popular hosts like Ancient Aliens does, then their episode budgets can easily exceed $500,000 per episode. They have the money to compensate you especially if you are contributing a lot of information for their show. Now, some people just like the learning experience and the chance they may be on TV so, they do it for free. That’s your decision but don’t let them make that decision for you.

2. Make sure they compensate you for mileage if you have to travel a great distance for taping. If they keep you all day, make sure they feed you and if safety is an issue, make sure they put you up for the night in a hotel. They have a budget for this, it’s wrapped in with the production crew budget or could be in a miscellaneous budget account.

3. Make sure you can openly speak in public about the episode when it airs. Do not sign a release form if it says you can never talk about it. I’ve actually seen this. They have no right to tell you that.

4. Make them pay you for use of any information like, pictures, or documents that are yours. Make sure they pay you for the “use” of pictures and documents, not for the “copyright” of pictures or documents. You do not want to give up rights for any pictures. I’ve seen anywhere between $25 to $50 per picture, and if it’s a great picture, like a UFO, then go for the moon. They will make money showing your pics, so you should too!

5. If there are any special needs pertaining to health, make sure that it is added to the release form. Like if you have hip problems, you may not want to walk up 5 flights of stairs to be filmed. You can pick the place to be filmed too like, inside or outside. They can say whatever they want, but ultimately, it’s your decision. Remember, “You are making them money”. Without you, there’s no show.

6. READ, READ and UNDERSTAND what you are reading. Do not be afraid to ask questions especially when you’re not familiar with the business terms. Do not be afraid to say, “Let me sleep on this”. Some production companies like using the used car salesmen approach, “Well if you snooze, you may lose.” Don’t let them push you to sign.

If, for the slightest moment you have any uncertainty about signing a release form, use your best judgement. You don’t want to walk into a dark alley, because you may not know what lays waiting for you.

Part of the release form you are signing gives them the right to, trade, sell, use your likeness how every they want to. Once you sign the release form, you are giving up those rights. They could make you out to be a good or even a bad guy if it fits to what they want or need. Also, you have zero control how your likeness is used anywhere afterwards. The production company or the Network can freely use your likeness in other projects anywhere and anytime they want without your permission.

One release form I read stated, they have the rights to use your information in any state, country, planet or universe. I guess this could pertain to our astronauts watching a TV show while in space. Or maybe it protects them from copyright infringement from aliens?

Also, it’s not worth being on TV if you are hesitant, concerned or particular about how your information or likeness will be used. Once you sign, you’re signing your life away.

7. They will lie, they will tell you, we won’t do that, that won’t happen, but the truth is, they will do whatever they want to do with your likeness (within the law) if it is best for their show. These guys are NOT your friends, treat them like a used car salesman. They will tell you what you want to hear so you’ll buy that car. Once you’re off the car lot, you’re not important anymore.

Remember, treat these contracts and show appearances as a business transaction, not an agreement between friends. They will take every advantage of you where they can. I’m not kidding, don’t be gullible and don’t let the excitement of maybe having a chance to be on TV, because it could backfire. Be smart. My previous blog talks about how I’ve turned down TV appearences recently, I didn’t like where they were going with the project and how it could affect my reputation. So, it’s ok to, “Just say no!”

I’ve worked with a few production companies, and there have been one or two ‘A-Holes” connected to them, but most are ok, just make sure you protect yourself and don’t let them talk you into anything that you may not want to do. Remember, whatever you do won’t affect them, but it may affect you.

Ok, so my first round of firing informational missiles has ended and you’re a little more prepared if you ever get a chance to be on a TV show.

But if it all fails for you then, “Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati”.
